I have found so many times that having a laminate floor in our kitchen is slightly a pain merely for the fact that it’s almost impossible to get the floor streak-free when you mop it. My go-to cleaner is typically a swiffer that I use for a quick clean but it leaves streaks all across the flooring. When I really want my floor to look in tip-top shape I use this “concoction” I am about to share with you. It’s a pretty basic one that includes ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. {Even better right?} Check it out…
INGREDIENTS:
- Dish Soap {I like to use Dawn soap}
- White Vinegar
- Water
HOW TO:
Revised version: Simply mix together in a spray bottle the vinegar and water keeping the amount the same for each. {Example: 1 cup of white vinegar, 1 cup of water} Then squirt enough dish soap in the squirt bottle to tint the color but be sure not to add too much as it will make your floors slick.
Spray your laminate floor and dry mop over it going the direction of your flooring. {I like to use my swiffer to go over the sprayed floor but I put a dry cloth in place of where the swiffer pad should be and it works great AAAND saves $$.}
Once your floor is completely dry you can sit back, relax and enjoy your streak-free floor!
Enjoy!
